Officer FAQ

Q: When should my applicants go for their medical exams?
A: Applicants should only go to a provider for their medical exam after they have been approved by DoDMERB and have received a packet from CIV Team with their assigned provider. If applicants are sent for their exams before approval or receipt of their CIV Team packet, the applicant may be responsible for payment of the exam.
Q: Where should I send my applicants for their medical examination?
A: It is imperative that applicants go to the provider they have been assigned to by CIV Team. Failure to go to the assigned provider may cause the applicant to be responsible for payment of the exam. CIV Team will not reimburse applicants who visit a provider that was not assigned. In many cases, the provider that you are used to sending your applicants to may have been removed from CIV Team’s approved provider list for various reasons. Therefore, it is important that each applicant goes to the facility they are assigned.
